Minot Hot Tots - Minot, ND

Our chat with Monica Blake, General Manager of the Minot Hot Tots in Minot, North Dakota.

Who are the Minot Hot Tots?

The Minot Hot Tots are a baseball team based in Minot, North Dakota, and are set to begin their inaugural season in 2023 as a member of the Northwoods League, a summer collegiate baseball league made up of teams from the Midwest and Canada. The team will play its home games at Corbett Field, a historic ballpark in Minot. As a new team, the Minot Hot Tots are looking to establish themselves as a beloved part of the local community and offer fans an exciting and fun baseball experience. The Northwoods League is known for its high level of competition and fun game-day promotions, so it's likely that the Hot Tots will follow suit and offer fans a great time at the ballpark.

What is your favorite part of working in baseball?

Being able to use FUN to make a difference in the community. Baseball is the main outlet that allows us to make an impact in some many other ways, even outside of the ballpark.

How do the Hot Tots aim to impact the community?

Our mission is to use FUN to make a difference in the community. Not only will we do that by bettering the quality of life of our small community, but we will also do that through promotions such as our jersey food drive giveaway, our STEM expo for kids to learn about STEM in a fun way, and many more events throughout the year.
